DBI issues $9.3M permit to relocate, renovate historic clubhouse at 1645 17th St
The Department of Building Inspection issued a $9.3 million alteration permit on April 7 for the renovation and relocation of a historic clubhouse at 1645 17th Street in Potrero Hill. The clubhouse will be moved from the southeast corner of the site to mid-block on the western portion fronting Carolina Street.
Per the permit description, the building's exterior will be refurbished per historic standards and interior spaces will be remodeled. The recreation-building use, single-story height, and wood-frame construction are unchanged. The permit was issued as a site permit.
