Bayview fire-department training facility wins $79.5M in DBI permits
The Department of Building Inspection issued two new-construction permits totaling $79.5 million for a fire-department training facility at 1200 Carroll Avenue in Bayview Hunters Point. The permits, two of four site permits described as part of the project, were issued on March 12 and April 3.
The first permit, valued at $45 million, covers a two-story type 2B structure designated Building A1. The second, valued at $34.6 million, covers Buildings C1 through C7, a seven-story type 2B complex; the second permit lists a proposed use of an SFPD or SFFD station. Both permits were filed in 2025 and approved earlier this year.
The site is in the Bayview Hunters Point neighborhood, in Supervisor District 10.
